Alpine Lodge

Alpine Lodge is probably the best option if you are staying in Red River, NM. It is centrally located close to every good place around the town. The property looks beautiful visually and the location is awesome. The river flows by the property. The ski slope is just opposite and everything around looks so beautiful. Coming to lodging - we got Room 102. The room was clean and spacious but a bit on the older side - no complaints though. Most of the rooms have attached patio and the view from my room was impeccable. People skiing, deers walking around just outside the patio and the trickling sound of the river. Awesome. Our room didn’t have a hair dryer so I called the office to arrange one for us. It was provided immediately by Nathan at front desk who came by to drop it at our room. Red river is very close to my heart and if I ever visit it again. I will again stay at Alpine Lodge and will recommend this to anyone visiting here.

I wasn't sure how this lodge would be because the prices were so very affordable but it was such a super pleasant surprise!! The rooms were super clean and so cute..not mention the most comfortable beds. It is located right on Main street so we were within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. I loved our stay, this will probably be our new go to.

Fantastic location and very friendly staff. We were a very late arrival and the after hours check-in process was clearly communicated and very easy. The office is very responsive via text, which made things easy as well. The room was fine. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. Honestly, we’re weren’t really in the room much except for sleeping as we were out and about all day for the days we were there. I would absolutely stay here again.

We booked with Alpine Lodge a few months in advance of our trip. I had many questions and the staff at Alpine Lodge were always quick to reply to my texts or messages. When we arrived in Red River to check in. the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Our room was 302 which is a king ski view and it was perfect to look out and see the face of the ski slope. We could sit on our balcony orange lay in bed and watch the skiers and snowboarders. Also if you want to book this room be aware that have to climb up a few steps to get to your room. The Lodge is in a great location allowing you to walk to just about anywhere you want to go. They have two hot tubs in a separate building and they felt great on those cold days! I highly recommend Alpine Lodge for anyone wanting a great time.

Clean rooms, a kitchen unit with all needed utensils. Comfortable beds and a big plus is plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Outside the grounds are clean and manicured. Great communication with the office and customer service was excellent. Can't wait to visit again in February 2026

Alpine Lodge is conveniently located to all local amenities that Red River has to offer. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The property has a rustic and quaint feel that transports you to an Alpental resort. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Went to Red River for our 23rd anniversary. Alpine Lodge was in a perfect location to all the best shop, restaurants & bars. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was clean & updated. We will definitely stay at Alpine Lodge again

Room was clean and the service was great! It's only about hundred yards from the ski resort, which was very convenient. There's several restaurants right across from it in every direction.
